    And Muscles was of course amazing through the whole thing. He kept apologizing and telling me I did great. After I explained to him why I was upset he said that B had been very rude to Mong’s Korean ex-girlfriend as well. And that she has a lot of “self-pride” and understandably didn’t want to look stupid in front of others. Apparently she hates English, too. Super. 

    He also said that he has other neighborhood friends (or “hood friends” as he calls them) who are much more understanding and said they didn’t care about speaking English or Korean and just wanted to meet me.

    We both committed a sacred pinky promise that we would harder to study language together at least one hour a week.

    And then we got drunk on Cass in our PJs. 

    Gotta love the dude.
