    Is this the real life…?

    I skipped crossfit this morning (oops!) to catch some of the last rays before rainy season hits. I was just walking along to get some lunch, minding my business, listening to This American Life when some very attractive, tall, buff dude stopped to talk to me. 

    In perfect English he tells me he is in the secret service (how secretive of him) and that he is in Busan checking out the area because some gov’t VIPs will be visiting the Bu at some point in the next few weeks. He asked how long I’d been in Korea and if I could speak Korean, etc. and if I could meet him near the hotel he was staying at in Busan.

    At that moment I was pretty hell bent on getting my sandwich (pastrami…mmmmm) so I asked him if I could give him my number because I was meeting a friend for lunch. About ten minutes later he called but I was too busy a) rehashing the whole event over to Britt over the phone and, b) ordering my scrumptious sandwich. 

    I called him back and he asked if I was available soon. I told him I was an English teacher and I had to work, so he asked if I wanted to meet afterwards to have some coffee. At this point I was growing increasingly suspicious so I just questioned what exactly was it that he wanted to discuss over coffee? And his response was, “Just talk, you know, blah blah blah.”

    Hmmmm….

    I am supposed to call him now to set up a meeting time but I am not sure exactly what to make of the whole situation. Kind of caught me off guard. I mean homeboy has definitely piqued my interest, I’ll give him that much.
