    Be careful what you wish for…

    So I have complained a few times that Muscles and I have been dating for over a year now and I have never really met any of his friends. Besides a drunken cheerfest one time during the world cup games last year I rarely know anything about his life outside of our little “us” bubble. I know he isn’t hiding anything because he is never dodgy when I ask questions, just the opportunities have never been created… until now. Dun dun…DUN. 

    Actually, this past Friday night I was eating dins with ‘alexx-in-wonderland’ and ‘brittinbusan’ when I mentioned something about never meeting any of his friends and Alex turned to me and said “Be careful what you wish for…”

    Well the 호박 must be clairvoyant or something because yesterday Muscles gets a call from one of his recently married best friends inviting him and their other best friend to her new apartment for dinner in a few hours. Muscles said his friend was bringing his new girlfriend and would I like to go too? I reluctantly agree.

    The fact that my Korean skills are a disgrace and his friends speak no English whatsoever doesn’t mean the night would necessarily be a complete fail right? Right…? 

    WRONG.

    (edit: started writing… too tired to finish. and watching SYTYCD. more to come… tomorrow?)

    1. karmaplace said: I feel your pain. The few times I’ve ever met my boyfriend’s friends I had to sit and look pretty while everyone prattled on in Vietnamese, ate foods I could hardly look at (ex. chicken feet dipped in blood sauce), or gambled. Bored out of my mind.
